Message from the Chairman of the Board
When we talk about education, many people immediately think of college entrance exams. But exams are just a small part of what education is really about. Learning is not simply about memorizing facts. It’s about building the ability to think for yourself, make good decisions, and create your own future with confidence. Good education is about building good habits. There’s a Korean saying: “Good habits bring miracles.” Habits of thinking, greeting others kindly, exercising, having healthy conversations, helping others, working together, and eating well—all of these habits shape who we are. People with good habits will succeed in the long run, while those without them may struggle, even if they succeed for a while. With the spirit of Hongik Ingan—“living for the good of all people”— true education also means helping students grow strong and healthy, while developing self-confidence and self-respect that allow them to say, “I can do anything.” At Daeshin Academy, through what we call “life-giving education,” we are committed to helping our students think for themselves and grow into young people who live with good habits and a bright future.
